Resources to support the development or modification of Pathways
Guiding Principles
Sheridan College has developed a planned process for establishing and implementing transfer agreements. All articulations/pathway/transfer agreements should be consistent and easy to understand in order to:
- ensure consistency for academic credit for all Sheridan students;
- increase student accessibility for additional and/or advanced credential opportunities;
- enable the maximum amount of approved transfer credit;
- mutually benefit students and all parties in the agreement;
- align with current industry expectations and evidence based on research
Effective communication should be established to maintain and support transparency, accuracy, consistency and credibility with respect to Pathways at Sheridan
NOTE: When considering an external or internal agreement please consider Sheridan’s principles outlined above and refer to Academic Procedure and Articulation Template Document and the Academic Procedure and Articulation Checklist
